WBP is named as a finalist for the 2008 Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award - 10/02/08 - San Bernardino, CA: WhiteBoard Partners has been named as a finalist for the 2008 Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award in the Innovator category. The event is sponsored by the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) at California State University, San Bernardino. The Innovator category targets companies that have innovatively used new business practices, processes or technologies to lead his or her enterprise to higher levels of performance and success in the marketplace.

"We are pleased to be honored by being nominated and are thrilled to be named a finalist for this award," said Peter Mehit, Managing Partner. "We were nominated by one of last year's winners, who is also a client of the firm. There are several of our client nominated for awards this year as well. We see this as a fantastic validation of WhiteBoard's approach and the success of the clients we work with."

WhiteBoard Partners Relocates to New Offices, Establishes Business Laboratory - 09/01/08 - Upland, CA: Whiteboard Partners announces its relocation to new offices in Upland, CA and the opening of a new business laboratory in Chino Hills, CA.

WBP has moved its general business operations from its Ontario, CA location to office space at 201 N. Euclid Ave, Suite 101, Upland CA, 91786 (at the intersection of 9th and Euclid). The company will be conducting general business and seminars at the space. At the same time, the company has established a business laboratory in Chino Hills, CA where client workshops, WBP facilitated management retreats and special WBP and client events will be held.

"We are very excited about these developments, especially the new business lab," said Lydia Mehit, owner and managing partner, "The business lab, in particular, is designed to take the client out of their normal environment and allow them to work in a calm, relaxed atmosphere." The business lab offers a variety of working environments, break out spaces and catering services if desired. "The new business lab gives us a space that allows the client to focus in place away from the distractions and business of a traditional office setting."

In addition to serving its clients, the company will also facilitate management retreats at its business lab. "For companies needing change, the business lab will give them a creative space to work through the change that our current economic situation requires," stated Peter Mehit, Managing Partner. " WBP's business lab offers a quiet, relaxed working atmosphere, coupled with our many years of business facilitation experience. We know that a retreat at the business lab will be productive and memorable experience." In addition to providing guided facilitation, full catering is available.

WBP will conduct initial consults and seminars at the new Euclid avenue space, as well as offering current clients the option of working at the new business lab. Meetings at either space are by appointment.

"This is an exciting new chapter in our development," Mr. Mehit said, "We are taking the lessons learned over the last three years in Ontario and using them to take our client experience to a new level."

WhiteBoard Partners Awarded Contracts for Force Protection Support Winners - 06/12/08 - San Bernardino, CA: The Foundation for California State University at San Bernardino awarded WBP three contracts to support the winners of its CCAT Force Protection grant competition. WBP will assist the University of Massachusetts, Empirical Technology Corporation and Jordan Neuroscience in the development of strategies and business plans for securing next level funding.

Speaking With the Future - 05/15/08 - San Bernardino, CA: WhiteBoard Partners in conjunction with the College of Business and Public Administration of California State University at San Bernardino, mentored students at the school's Career Summit event. Meeting with small groups of CSUSB students and students from Redlands High School, Lydia and Peter Mehit discussed what employers look for in candidates and what paths are open to them should they want to start their own businesses. "It was a lively discussion," said Ms. Mehit about her group of six eager students. "They have definite ideas about their futures. It's exciting to see young people this engaged regarding business." WBP Featured at SBA Procurement Day - 04/17/08 - Ontario, CA: WhiteBoard Partners was a featured presenter at series of workshops delivered by the Small Business Adminstration/County of San Bernardino's SBA Procurement Day and Fair. WBP's Managing Partner Peter Mehit gave a talk on "Creating a Fundable Business Plan" which combined the practicalities of how to determine a funding source and what to put in your plan to why your self image and confidence is key in succeeding in the funding search. WBP Participates in CCAT Force Protection Panel Presentation - 04/11/08 - San Bernardino, CA: Peter Mehit, Managing Partner of WhiteBoard Partners participated as a panelist at the California State University at San Bernardino's Office of Technology Transfer and Commercialization part of the universities Center for Commercialization of Advanced Technologies grant application presentations. The presentations focused on new and adaptive technologies for military force health protection. Panelists listened to the presentations, asking questions of the presenting companies and providing critiques and guidance of the applicants. CCAT grants are generally used to bridge product development from Small Business Innovation Research grants and seed funding to venture or additional grant funding.

WBP Named Business to Business Partner of the Year - 07/31/07 - Rancho Cucamonga, CA - The Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce named WhiteBoard Partners, LLC as business to business partner of the year at its annual small business of the year awards held in July.
